Learn what your symptoms are telling you and take charge of your health with tailored recommendations and testing options
Unlike symptom trackers or generic wellness advice, OvaJoy helps uncover the potential underlying drivers of your PCOS. Such as inflammation, insulin resistance, stress or gut imbalance.
Your health isn’t one-size-fits-all, and neither is our approach. OvaJoy analyses your lifestyle, symptoms, and history to deliver tailored recommendations through a monthly membership that reflects your real experience, not generic advice.
You’re not alone. Connect with other women navigating PCOS through shared stories, expert guidance, and real-life tips in a space that’s inclusive and judgement-free.
Go deeper with evidence-based blood and gut tests that focus on markers often missed in GP visits.
We blend lived experience with scientific credibility, bringing together women's voices, clinical advisors and technology for a smarter approach to PCOS care.
Anna founded OvaJoy after years of living with undiagnosed PCOS from being on the pill. When she came off the pill, her symptoms arrived in full force, and the lack of meaningful support from her GP left her frustrated, disillusioned, and determined to find another way.
Anna is a personal trainer and has a passion for health and fitness, so she is no stranger to healthy living. But even while doing “everything right”, her symptoms persisted — from acne and irregular periods to unexplained weight gain and emotional burnout. She tried every quick-fix on the internet, but nothing truly helped until she began exploring root causes: healing her gut, managing stress, and shifting her approach in nutrition and exercise.
“I know what it’s like to feel hopeless, when you're doing everything 'right', yet still gaining weight, breaking out, losing hair, feeling depressed. It turns out what I thought was 'right' for my body, in fact wasn't!".
OvaJoy was born from her lived experience and her desire to give women better tools to understand and manage their PCOS, using evidence-based insights, accessible testing, and personalised support. She’s passionate about helping others move past confusion and feel more in control of their health, their bodies, and their confidence.
Dr. Yu Pei is the Co-founder and Head of Bioinformatics at OvaJoy. Her journey into medical science began in her teenage years, when she struggled with a weakened immune system, which sparked a lifelong curiosity about the human body and the hidden causes of chronic conditions.
After completing medical school in China, Yu moved to Sweden to pursue advanced research and earned her PhD in Medical Science at the Karolinska Institute, specialising in bioinformatics, reproductive biology and PCOS. Her research into PCOS led to a co–first author publication in Nature Medicine, titled "Prenatal androgen exposure and transgenerational susceptibility to polycystic ovary syndrome." The study revealed how androgen exposure during early development may contribute to PCOS risk across generations.
At OvaJoy, Dr. Yu Pei leads the development of cutting-edge, personalised testing tools that combine clinical research with genomics, bioinformatics, and user-centered design. Her goal is to make early, accurate, and accessible testing a reality for those suffering from PCOS, empowering them to take back control of their health through deeper biological insights.
“Science should not stay in the lab. I believe women deserve real answers, not just symptom management, and that starts with better diagnostics.”
